Terms of Service

By installing or using the Pensira Security App, you agree to the following terms.

1What Pensira Is

Pensira is a Discord User-Installable App — you install it to your own Discord account, not to a specific server, and use it via the right-click context menu (Quick Scan / Deep Check) on any message, in any server or DM you're in. It never scans automatically or in the background; it only runs when you explicitly invoke it.

2Fair Use & Quota Policy

To keep the service stable for the whole community, an automatic fair-use scan rate limit applies equally to every user. There are no paid tiers, donor tiers, or usage boosts — everyone shares the same limit. If you scan too quickly, the bot will ask you to slow down and try again shortly after.

3Dashboard & Feedback

Logging into the dashboard at pensira.org with Discord is entirely optional and only needed to see your own stats (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that login accesses). Submitting feedback through the dashboard, however, requires being logged in — this is so reports can be followed up on and so the feedback form can't be spammed anonymously. Feedback you submit is linked to your account and forwarded to the team, as described in the Privacy Policy. A short cooldown applies between submissions, and an invisible bot-check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on every submission.

Feedback must not contain swearing, harassment, hate speech, or otherwise abusive content. Feedback is reviewed by a human, and a violation can result in immediate blocking from dashboard login without prior warning — see Section 4.

4Blocking & Termination

We reserve the right to block a specific email address from logging into the dashboard, at our sole discretion, if it's associated with abuse of the bot, the dashboard, or the feedback form — including submitting feedback that violates the content standard in Section 3. Blocking only affects dashboard login — it does not remove the bot from your Discord account or otherwise restrict your ability to use Quick Scan / Deep Check on Discord itself. If your email is blocked, you'll receive a notice explaining that dashboard access has been restricted.

5Disclaimer

The Pensira Engine runs entirely offline on Pensira's own server, using a combination of signature matching, statistical heuristics, and locally-run machine learning models — see the Privacy Policy for the free, publicly available data sources it draws its blocklists from, and the required attribution for one of them. Like any automated security tool, it can produce false positives (flagging something safe) or false negatives (missing something malicious). Scan results should be used as one signal in your security assessment, not as a definitive verdict.
